“I healed with this music as a listener and performer.”
Later, she revealed that once she got on the road, she was able to feel like herself once again — both through her fans and the music of SSS. “Supported by y’all’s epic ass energy I uplifted myself every night with songs like “Too Much” and “Piece of Mind”. Found my strength again with Hold Me By the heart,” she wrote. “And what I’m most thankful for was ALL THE FUN (the rest of the damn songs lololol long ass album) This album wasn’t “You Should Be Here” deep, it was the most high spirited project I’ve made so far that I didn’t know I needed so much for myself. I healed with this music as a listener and performer.”
“This wasn’t a piece of a music it was a time stamp in my life,” she continued. “SSS was a bandaid, and the best one at that. I love y’all!

I started this album feeling like I had something to prove to the world, the mixtape had made some sort of wild history and the pressure was immense. In the middle of the album process my life changed forever!” After a few months break I came back to work on it but wasn’t the same girl. Didn’t recognize my new self in any of the music… but I had to finish. I didn’t have time. Ill admit, putting out this album was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because on Jan 27th last year I ain’t really fuck with IT or ME. Touring this album saved my life!!! Supported by y’all’s epic ass energy I uplifted myself every night with songs like “Too Much” and “Piece of Mind”. Found my strength again with Hold Me By the heart.. and what I’m most thankful for was ALL THE FUN (the rest of the damn songs lololol long ass album) This album wasn’t “You Should Be Here” deep, it was the most high spirited project I’ve made so far that I didn’t know I needed so much for myself. I healed with this music as a listener and performer. Every night on that tour you guys gave me reasons to get better and b stronger. Every time you tell me this album changed something for you I get the wildest feeling because we’re in the same shoes. Thank you everyone who worked on this, but more importantly everyone who was there during this album process as a friend/family. This wasn’t a piece of a music it was a time stamp in my life. SSS was a bandaid, and the best one at that. I love y’all! I hope whatever you are doing makes you happy, I hope you fall in love with yourself if you aren’t already, and I hope the people around you remind you to keep pushing no matter what. Enjoy life, nothings as serious as it seems. LOVE! Happy 1 year Lil baby.
“New deals on the way, bitch!”
“New deals on the way, bitch!” he said. “If you ain’t got 15 [million], don’t talk to me, bitch! I don’t want no meetings unless you talkin’ 15 and up!”
Pump is said to have received a nearly $350,000 advance on his original Warner contract, but with the platinum-selling, top 3 Billboard hit “Gucci Gang” under his belt, he’s looking for a much bigger payday for his next venture. The initial report from Hits Daily Double stated that Pump’s team was looking for $8 million per album, while he’d been getting offers that sat in the $3-4 million per album range.
In 2017, Pump released his self-titled debut project, which launched at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. It sold 46,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
Though he’s a relatively new artist, Pump is already a fairly recognized name in pop culture. Earlier this month, his hit, “Gucci Gang,” was parodied in an SNL skit with Pete Davidson and Sam Rockwell.
Following his viral freestyle, Black Thought is planning to release some music independent from The Roots.
In June of last year, Black Thought revealed that 9th Wonder, as well as Salaam Remi, would be working on The Roots forthcoming 12th studio album End Game. “Last October we had a writers’ retreat at Electric Lady Studios in New York City for about a week or so,” he said. “Within that time we got about a good deal of the groundwork of what’s to come for the record, End Game. I’ve been working, writing and recording on it since then.”
9th Wonder has released many collaborative projects over the course of his career, including efforts with Talib Kweli, Wale, Murs, Pete Rock, and Jean Grae, not to mention his run as the producer in Little Brother. Last year, he revealed he had recorded the equivalent of a 12-track album with TDE artist SiR.
No word on a release date for the EP or the long-awaited Roots album. Stay tuned for further details.
Nelly has officially filed a countersuit against the woman who falsely accused him of rape.
Well it’s official. After we heard rumors last month that Nelly was going to countersue the woman who falsely accused him of rape, the St. Louis rapper did just that on Friday in Seattle. TMZ reports that Nelly filed the suit Friday, and claims that the accuser came onto him first, before lying about their sexual encounter to get him arrested.
Nelly’s suit states that Monique Greene made her way into his VIP section of the nightclub where he was headlining, and started coming onto him hard. Nelly says he then invited her to join him and others back on his tour bus. He says they had consensual sex on the tour bus, and Greene only got mad when one of his performers, which he told police was a backup dancer, entered the room to use the bathroom. At that point, Nelly says Greene got “aggressive and disruptive” and was asked to leave then. Greene called for an Uber and then called police to report the alleged incident which would eventually lead to Nelly’s arrest for rape.
nellFollowing his arrest though, Greene and her attorney made several statements on the Internet that falsely accused him of raping her. He says the statements were a clear and malicious attempt to get him prosecuted, which ultimately didn’t work.
In addition, Nelly says her claims cost him a lot of money too. He was forced to cancel a scheduled show and also damaged his reputation in the music business.
Hip hop artist and Internet personality Frederick Eugene Buhl died Saturday in Renton, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s office.
On a Facebook post, Buhl’s father, Frederick Douglass Buhl, said his son was 22 years old.
The younger Buhl went by the name Freddy E. He was best known for his Internet program Jerk TV, which featured humorous and profane segments, often with a moral or cautionary message.
“Not only our family, but the world has lost a talented, sensitive, brilliant young man who lit up our existence with his,” Buhl’s father said in his post.
Nick Fletcher, of the medical examiner’s office, said an autopsy will be performed Monday.
The last messages on Freddy E’s Twitter account express despair and heartbreak. “If there’s a God then He’s calling me back home …” He told his parents he loved them. The final message: “I’m sorry.”
While stopping by at BET’s “106 & Park,” T.I. explained the title of his latest album, Trouble Man.
Tip was asked why he titled his album after a song by Marvin Gaye.
“I felt like at that moment in time, Marvin Gaye’s life embodied what the word ‘Trouble Man’ and what the song meant in all senses of the word,” he explained. “And today… I feel like the past six, seven years of my life, and the adversity…in my life that I have endured and overcame, that is synonymous and it embodies what the word ‘Trouble Man’ means today.”
“Marvin Gaye did it for them back then, and I’m doing it for us right now,” added Tip. “Nothing but love and respect, and nothing but salutations and respect to Marvin Gaye and his whole family.”
T.I. also discussed the feel of the album. “It has a more balanced blend of that vintage ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ ‘Top Back,’ Trap Muzik sound with some of the more mainstream radio records that you heard from Paper Trail.” said T.I. “It’s more of a cohesive blend.”
Everything about Lil Wayne seems to get news except his music. Wayne was allegedly caught up in a massive brawl that took place backstage at Cali Christmas last Friday (Dec. 14).
Full of shockers, Cali Christmas brought out guest appearances from Big Sean, J.Cole, and A$AP Rocky. The YM camp leader got through the west-side to hit the stage and support Kendrick Lamar. Unfortunately for Wayne, his intentions were dropped when a fight broke out before his appearance. An eye-witness told Hollyscoop.com that the fight was among the rapper and unknown individuals.
“Punches were thrown but no arrests were made,” said the witness. “It was a serious fight and was witnessed by everyone who was backstage.”
Witnesses say the cause of the fighting wasn’t clear or who the other guy was. Fortunetly, authorities were not called but with many eye witnesses someone had to catch it on camera.
No statements have been made by the radio station or the Young Money camp about the issue.
Freshly freed Katt Williams had a front row seat last night as good friend Suge Knight got into a CRAZY brawl outside a Hollywood club … that ended with Suge nearly mowing down some people in his SUV … just hours after Katt was released from jail.
It all went down outside the Eden club. When the video (which is understandably shaky) starts, the massive brawl is already in full swing and you can see Suge trying to go after someone while Katt gets away from the action, walking behind a dumpster.
As the camera pans back, you can see Suge on the left side of the frame in a tan long-sleeved shirt. Suge can be seen connecting with some sort of punch, but the actual blow is blocked from view.
The next time we see Katt, he’s making his way to a black SUV while being chased by someone. Katt appears to get in the car before the guy is able to catch up to him.
Suge then gets into a white SUV and guns it, nearly hitting several people on his way out of the parking lot.
Katt and Suge were detained and cited by police a little over a week ago and Katt was just arrested Friday for child endangerment and had only been out of jail for a few hours before the brawl went down.
R&B singer Trey Songz was reportedly arrested in late September of this year over an incident that happened on August 22nd, according to New York Daily News.
The R&B star, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, was arrested over an altercation that occurred in a Queens strip club for misdemeanor assault after he allegedly threw a wad of money that hit a woman in her left eye, causing “substantial pain.”
Songz, 28, is accused of tossing the money at 36-year-old Donna McIntosh-Inoe after she allegedly snapped a cell phone picture of him at Club Perfection in Woodhaven at 4 a.m.
“He chucked a wad of cash at me,” McIntosh-Inoe told the Daily News. “A wad of cash.”
The Staten Island woman said she didn’t even know she had a bruise on her face until after she left the club.
“I had to walk around a whole week with a black eye,” McIntosh-Inoe said.
McIntosh-Inoe’s husband said the couple paid $700 to sit with Songz in the VIP section of the club where he held an album release party for his fifth EP “Studio V.”
“He tried to delete the picture, but he didn’t know how to use my phone,” McIntosh-Inoe said.
She couldn’t bring herself to pick up the discarded money.
Songz never came out to apologize, according to McIntosh-Inoe.

There might be a meltdown in the relationship between Ice T and his wife Coco Austin over some suspiciously flirty pictures in which the buxom blonde, who is headlining the topless revue Peepshow, is seen getting close with rapper AP.9.
The Ice Loves Coco star sparked a Twitter tirade from her husband, who wasn’t with his wife in Las Vegas. The rapper calls the photos, “disrespectful and in bad taste. She’s made me look..And feel like s—.” While no one is using the D-word, Coco isn’t quite off the hook for her naughty behavior. “Don’t get it twisted…I’m not happy about this s—,” T added.
Coco apologized to her man, also via Twitter, by admitting, “Ice is right, the pics I took with this man were in poor taste & I disrespected my husband however the pics were the only thing that happened.” She added, “please guys I’m happily married, sometimes fans & friends take silly pics it’s harmless.”
In case once wasn’t enough, Coco laid out another apology to her man several hours later. “I feel so sad the bottom line is I love Ice & can understand why he’s upset there’s no excuse for my actions. I’m so sorry baby.”
The couple of ten years have one of the most rock-solid marriages in Hollywood, and we’re sure they’ll weather this storm.
